I am a registered nurse working at Beebe Hospital in Delaware, as an Oncology Nurse at their Tunnell Cancer Center. I administer chemo infusions and educate patients about their care and treatment plans. I am married to an USAF Pilot, and have moved around the country for the last 12 years as part of his career. I've held different positions in nursing, but mainly focused in oncology/infusion. When I first became a nurse I ultimately wanted to join the Peace Corps, or do some type of volunteer work as a nurse to help people in other countries. Getting the opportunity to volunteer with Empower Nepal Foundation and go on this journey is a dream come true for me. I am beyond thrilled to do this type of work in this environment and feel fortunate to do so. Other interests of mine include hiking, reading, traveling, quilting, snowboarding, camping, or doing anything outside. Again, I am so grateful for this chance to fulfill something I have always wanted to do.
