Dr. Gillian Anderson is a family physician who has specialized in psychiatry. She will be evaluating and testing patients with mental health problems and doing brief focused psychotherapy.
Gillian is currenty working with the Maori people of New Zealand. She is the mother of three daughters and has three grandchildren as well. She is a practitioner of Buddhism and met Rachel Frazin while on a five-week retreat in Spain where she was certified to teach “Cultivating Emotional Balance” - a secular approach to apply Buddhist philosophy to achieve mental balance and wellbeing. Gillian will bring these skills to Nepal to educate small groups of patients about emotions and how to cultivate emotional balance.
