Well, my village name is Briddim which is located in Rasuwa district of Nepal at the height of 2229m from the sea level. We can see a view of Langtang lirung and Ganesh himal from my village.
It is near to China. About my childhood and schooling-we don’t have a school in my village that’s why I went to a next village named Dhunche (headquarter of Rasuwa). I studied there for 11 years staying in hostel far from my family. We only use to had holiday once a year in Dashain (which is the main festival of Nepal). After 11 years of my schooling I came to Kathmandu for Dental Course which I am waiting for my final result. I was sponsor for my education by a British.
About the similarities between Tsum and my village:
1. Language are similar
2. Their dress up are similar
3. Religion(Buddhism)in both the village
4. Design of the houses
Difference-As Tsum is higher in height than my village. it’s very cold in Tsum but in my village the weather are mild. We only need to walk one hour to reach my village but for Tsum it took like six days (last time camp). Mine village is little developed than Tsum in transportation system and road conditions may be it happen because it’s near to Kathmandu. It will only take 6 hour by bus and one hour by walk.
About the last camp 2017-At the very beginning everyone was unknown to me except Dr.Phurbu. So, I got little nervous at the beginning as they all were Tsumba except me and also they inform me that it will take like 4-5days to reach Tsum valley. That was my first time to walk so far. After we reach Tsum valley I feel wow, it was so beautiful than I thought and also I really like the way they treat us. People were so kind and helpful mainly Lama Pasang wow he is so great, I can’t forget him. Eventually I would like to thanks Dr. Phurbu Dorje for choosing me as his dental hygienist, with his support I got olden opportunity to serve the Tsumba and also main Thanks to Mrs. Rachel Frazin and Tanzin for organizing the camp, it was wonderful camp. God will bless you guys always as you guys did a lot to serve people.
